Do you love your wife?
Do you genuinely love your wife? I know you may instinctively answer "yes," but that is not the ultimate question. The real question is: does your wife truly feel loved? Take a moment to reflect on this and set aside your immediate response.
When a woman genuinely feels loved, it becomes evident through various indicators. The signs manifest in her words and actions. She blushes at the mere mention of her partner. It's rare for her to engage in a conversation without mentioning him. She experiences a rush of emotions, even goosebumps, when she sees or holds him. Her love for him surpasses any other affection she may have. She eagerly seeks his company whenever she needs to talk and feels completely secure in his presence. When a woman genuinely feels loved, she willingly and wholeheartedly supports her husband. She treats him with respect and admiration, without feeling like a servant. She carries herself with the grace of a queen, yet without any trace of arrogance. She stands up for his honor and safeguards his possessions. She protects him with unwavering loyalty. She remains by his side through thick and thin, offering support during his successes and encouragement during his failures. Dear men, when you love your woman, it is crucial to ensure that she genuinely feels your love. Express it explicitly and without reservation. Demonstrate it openly through your actions. Love and cherish the people who are important to her. Embrace her dreams and aspirations with love and support. Show interest and appreciation for the things she is passionate about. If there are aspects about her that you find challenging, communicate with her openly and help her grow. Remember, marriage is intended to be a union imbued with love and compassion. When a woman genuinely feels loved, she can accomplish extraordinary feats for the sake of your relationship.
"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought." (Qur'an chapter 30, verse 21)
May Allah SWT bless all our marriages. Ameen.
