A Letter to My Pious Family & Friends

After eight years of marriage, today I have made a significant decision. I have come to realize that it is my responsibility to fight for myself and my daughters. If I remain silent, people will start talking about my daughters in the same way they talk about me and other girls. Although my mother used to say that silence is the best way to fight back, I have spent eight years following that advice and have come to the conclusion that it is not true. Silence only enables others to freely express whatever they want. Fortunately, I have the best in-laws and a highly understanding and confident husband who always encourages me to listen to my heart rather than society's expectations, including those of our families. I am grateful to have been blessed with such wonderful in-laws and to have never encountered any family issues. However, from the beginning, our social circle has been concerned about our married life and family system. Despite eight years passing, they have been unable t...

To my dear husband

My Dearest Husband, As I sit down to write this letter to you, my heart is filled with love, gratitude, and a deep desire to express the importance of sincere respect, understanding, truthfulness, and trust in our relationship. Over the years, we have built a beautiful life together, and I believe that nurturing these qualities is essential for our continued happiness and growth as a couple. By cultivating respect in our interactions, we create a safe and nurturing environment where both of us can flourish and be our authentic selves. Sincere respect is not just about treating each other with politeness or courtesy. It goes beyond surface-level interactions and...

Halal Food Ideology

(6:118) If you believe in the signs of Allah, eat the flesh of that over which Allah's name has been pronounced. (6:119) And why do you not eat of that over which Allah's name has been pronounced, while He has clearly explained to you what He has forbidden, unless you are compelled [to eat it]? Many people mislead others without knowledge, following their own desires. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of the transgressors. (6:120) Avoid both open and hidden sins. Indeed, those who commit sins will be recompensed for what they used to do. (6:121) Do not eat from that [animal] upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned when it was slaughtered, for indeed, it is a grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him]. These quotes are from Surah Al-An'am, verses 118-121 of the Quran. These verses contain instructions regarding the consumpti...
